Warming up food
Scalding hazard!
With the dial F you can set for how long the baby
food is warmed up. As a result, there is a risk
of extensive heat accumulation. Make sure that
you select the right setting range and the correct
heat level.
Before you feed your baby, be absolutely sure
that the stirred food has the right consumption
temperature.
Food in jars or glasses tends to overflow when
heated. For this reason, stir the food and always
hold the vessel firmly with the glass tongs D. ■

1. Place open jars, glasses or bottles in the mid-
dle of the ring insert B (see Figures 3–5).
2. With the dial F select the right setting (see Fig-
ure 8 and A to C on the front side).
3. Push the dial F in the upper area.
The warm-up process will begin. This is indi-
cated by the illumination of the infrared light on
the bottom of the base. Once the heating time
has been reached, the device will switch to
keep-warm mode for 20 minutes. Afterwards,
the device switches to the cooling phase and
then to standby mode.

4. Always remove bottles or glasses from the de-
vice with the bottle tongs D.
5. During the heating process and keep-warm
mode, you always have the option of switching
to the cooling phase (by pressing dial F).
If you accidentally select the wrong set-
ting, turn the device off and if necessary, let
it cool off. Then select the correct setting by
turning dial F back to the home position Z
and then selecting the new position. Turn the
device back on. The heating process will re-
start.
It is not possible to directly switch to the
correct setting during the heating process
by turning dial F.
The device is equipped with a temperature
sensor to protect the electronics. It interrupts
operation if the internal temperature is too
high. The device can be reactivated after cool-
ing off for approximately 10 minutes.
The device is also equipped with overheat pro-
tection. It can only be replaced by a qualified
professional or the manufacturer.
Note
If electromagnetic interference acts on the Baby
Food Warmer, it can result in the device shift-
ing to a safe operating state (device switches
off or switches to cooling mode – indicator lamp
flashes). Cooling mode ends automatically after
about 10 minutes. Alternatively, the device can
be re-started by pressing the operating button
after taking out the main power connector and
putting it back in.
