blinking, which indicates that the device has
cooled off.
– Never move the device when it is operating. If
you have to move the device, make sure your
hands are protected and hold it in a level posi-
tion with both hands (see Figure 7).
– You must also exercise special caution when
the device is cooling off as the device surfaces
cool off slowly. ■
Risk of damage!
Severe shocks may damage the device. Make
sure it does not fall and position it so that there is
no risk of it falling onto the ground. Never operate
the device if it exhibits visible damage. Consult a
qualified workshop in this case. ■

Baby food warmer
Basic cleaning
You should also clean the baby food warmer
before using it in order to remove any leftover
packaging.
Hazard: Grid voltage!
Make sure that the power plug is not in a socket.

1. Clean the base A, the ring insert B and the
glass C with a wet cloth and a small amount of
detergent.
2. Dry the parts thoroughly.

Do not operate the device without the ring insert
B. The glass C, the glass bottle, the baby food jar
or the plastic bottle could burst if placed directly
on the unit. ■
1. Place the base A on a solid, level, non-slip and
heat-resistant surface so that there is no risk of
tipping.
2. Place the ring insert B in the base A (see Fig-
ures 2–5).
3. Make sure that the ring insert B is properly po-
sitioned (see Figure 3).
4. Insert the power plug E in a properly in-
stalled socket with earthing contact.
The baby food warmer is ready for use.
