Insert backup batteries

In order to retain the time even if mains power fails, you can insert two 1.5V batteries LR03
AAA into the battery compartment. The backup battery compartment is located on the
underside of the device.
1. Pull out the plug.
2. Open the battery compartment by sliding the cover downwards to the side in the
direction indicated by the arrow.
3. Insert two 1.5V R03/LR03 AAA batteries. Ensure the +/- terminals are correct. The
markings in the device will help with this.
4. Close the battery compartment.
