Operation
After the On/Off switch has been actuated and the
machine has started, the gearbox switches to the
preselected setting.

Impact drilling

Impact drilling
-NOTE-
Left rotation when impact drilling damages the
drill. Switch off the impact mechanism for diamond
crown drilling or for mixing work.
When hammer drilling, only use drills with tung-
sten carbide inserts and SDS-Plus shafts.
The use of commercially available rock drills with
cylindrical shafts by means of the adapter and a
normal drill chuck in conjunction with the pneu-
matic impact mechanism is not possible.

Adjusting the chisel
Positioning the chisel
The chisel can now be turned by hand to the re-
quired working position.
The chisel automatically engages as soon as a ra-
dial load is placed on it as a result of the work/chis-
elling process.

Changing the tool

Disconnect the plug from the power
outlet and remove the battery before
making any adjustments, changing
accessories or storing the power tool.
This safety measure prevents acciden-
tal starting of the power tool.
Wear safety gloves when changing
the tool.
The tool insert can become very hot
after working for long periods and/or
the cutting edges of the tool insert
are sharp.
The dust protection cap largely prevents the pen-
etration of drilling dust during operation. When in-
serting the tool, take care that the dust protection
cap is not damaged.
A damaged dust protection cap should be
changed immediately. It is recommend to have
this carried out by an after-sales service.
The tool holder retains the drill bit or chiselling tool
in a SDS-plus holder without additional equip-
ment.
Inserting the tool
Clean and grease the tool shaft slightly.
Insert the tool into the tool holder by turning it until
it snaps into place.
Check the interlock by pulling the tool.
Removing the tool
Pull the unlocking sleeve backwards and remove
the tool.

Operating tips

Operate the machine only with the
auxiliary handle
Loss of control can cause personal
injury.
Always match the speed to the material con-
cerned and the drill bit diameter.
Hammer drilling - Chiselling
Wear protective glasses and hearing
protection.
Do not exert too much pressure on the tool; The
performance is not increased by doing so.
The most effective method for chiselling is to
break out only small pieces of material.
