Release the welding torch button
3 The electric arc goes out
TIG LED [16]
Lights up when the "TIG" welding method is
activated.
4-cycle LED [17]
Lights up when the "4-cycle" operating mode is
selected (only with TIG welding method).
Press the welding torch button

Slope LED [18]
Lights up when the "Slope" function is selected.
2-cycle: When the welding process is started, the
machine increases the current from the trigger cur-
rent to the set welding current (Current rise). At the
end of the welding process, the machine reduces the
current from the set welding current to min. current
(Current reduction).
4-cycle: When the welding process is started,
the machine increases the current from the starting
current to the set welding current (Current rise). At
the end of the welding process, the machine reduces
the current from the set welding current to the final
current (= Current reduction).
Welding torch control plug socket [19]
The control plug of the TIG torch is inserted into this
socket.
Button operating mode/mode [20]

Electrode welding

Observe the manufacturer's instructions when
selecting a suitable stick electrode.
The electrode diameter is dependent on the thick-
ness of the material to be welded.
Connect electrode holder
The polarity of the electrode depends on the elec-
trode type and the welding method.
Observe the manufacturer's instructions on the
electrode packaging.
Electrode welding with positive (+)
electrode:
Connect the electrode holder to the positive (+)
socket [4] of the system and secure it by turning
the connector in clockwise direction.
Electrode welding with negative (–)
electrode:
Connect the electrode holder to the negative (–)
socket [3] of the system and secure it by turning
the connector in clockwise direction.
Press the lever on the handle of the electrode
holder. Clamp an electrode with the bare end in
the holder, observing the notches on the inside
of the two jaws.
Connecting the workpiece line
Connect the workpiece lead to the free second
socket [3] or [4]. Secure the connecting plug
by turning in clockwise direction.
Switching on the machine
Switch on the machine at the main switch [6] and
select with button [20] the "Electrode" welding
method (LED [14] Electrode lights up).
A power range from 5 A to 150 A is available for
electrode welding. Set the welding current at rotary
controller [13].
