3. Valve Installation

Thread the escutcheon nut to the bottom of each valve body.
Attach and tighten a hose to the bottom of each valve body.
Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of the
escutcheon nuts according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Position the valve body assemblies through the sink. Make sure
that the hot valve body (marked red) is installed in the left-hand
hole and the cold valve body is installed in the right-hand hole.
Secure the valve body assemblies with the washer and the nut
from under the sink.
Connect and tighten the hoses to the shank tee.
Remove any excess putty.
