Before you start:
• Make sure the batteries are installed correctly.
• connect the cable to the electrode pads and then connect to the
unit.
• Attach the electrode pads to the area of pain.
• Do not use the electrode pads if it is scratched or damaged in
any way.
Check/Replace the battery
1. Open the battery compartment cover (I).
2. Insert the battery into the battery compartment. Make sure to
insert the battery correctly. The positive and negative poles of
the battery must face the corresponding marks in the battery
compartment of the device.
3. Recover the battery compartment (I) cover if you want to use it.
Caution:
1. Remove the batteries if the device is not in use for long periods of
time.
2. Warning: If batteries leak and come into contact with the skin or
eyes, wash immediately with copious amounts of water.
3. Batteries must be handled by an adult. Keep batteries out of the
reach of children.
4. Remove exhausted batteries from the unit.
5. Dispose of batteries safety according to battery manufacturer's
instructions.
Connect the electrode pads to the cables:
Hold the electrode plug contacts (L)
and insert them into the sockets of the
self-adhesive electrodes. Make sure
that the bare metal of the electrode
pins is not exposed.
Caution:
Always use the cable that supplied with manufacturer or distributor
and use the electrode pads with cE mark, or are legally marketed
in the US under 510 (k) procedure.
Connect cable to unit
The leads supplied with the TENS unit are to be connected to the so-
ckets on the upper side of the unit (A). Hold the plug by the insulated
part and push the end of the plug into one of the sockets. You may use
one or two sets of leads. After you have connected the leads to the
stimulator unit, connect an electrode to each lead (N). The leads sup-
plied with the TENS unit conform to the FDA compliance Standards.
