not use the winch in an explosive or corrosive atmosphere.
The winch must be kept clean and free from any grease. Lubricate all mobile elements.
Revise periodically the conditions of the winch to make sure it is not rusted.
Before every use, revise the technical conditions of the winch. In case any damage is detected, it is strictly prohibited to
operate the winch. In such cases the winch must be sent to an authorised service centre. Do not repair the winch yourself, use
solely the original spare parts. It will guarantee safety of operation.
Lubricate the load and the control chain at least once in three months. It will protect the chains from corrosion. Apply a small
amount of a liquid lubricant on a clean cloth and rub it thoroughly in the chains. Increase the frequency of lubrication depending
on the frequency of use of the winch.
After each maintenance or repair operation test the winch. In controlled conditions lower and lift an unloaded hook once, and then
repeat the operation with a hook loaded with the nominal weight for the winch. Be particularly careful, especially during the test
with a load. If during the tests no anomalies have been detected, then the winch may be operated normally.
