Other actions
During work revise periodically the battery charge diode, so as to be sure its condition permits a safe and effi cient work. In case
the safety device is activated and the ventilator is on, the diode shines green continuously. If it turns red, work must be interrupted
and the battery replaced.
If the nails are not driven in completely, in spite of the fact the maximum depth has been set, it may mean the gas in the cartridge
is running out. In such a case the cartridge should be replaced.
MAINTENANCE
Note! Never proceed to any maintenance actions without having removed the battery and the gas cartridge from the socket of the
tool, and nails from the dispenser.
Never apply petrol, solvents or other infl ammable liquids to clean the tool. Vapours may ignite causing explosion of the tool and
serious injuries. Solvents used to clean the handle and the case of the tool may soften the sealing. Dry the tool thoroughly, before
you commence work.
In case any irregularities during operation of the tool have been detected, disconnect the battery and the gas cartridge immediately.
Maintenance of the air fi lter (XVI)
Open the fi lter lid, moving the safety device of the lid in the direction indicated by the arrow, and then remove the air fi lter. Tap the
fi lter gently to remove the dirt. If it is diffi cult to remove the dirt, use water with soap to clean the fi lter completely. Do not use sharp
object to clean the fi lter. If the nailing tool is used every day, clean the fi lter every second day. Once the fi lter has been cleaned,
install it in the casing.
A dirty air fi lter may cause overheating of the tool, and therefore its incorrect functioning and premature wear.
Maintenance of the tool after each use
Remove the battery and the gas cartridge from the socket of the tool, and the remaining nails from the dispenser. It is recommended
to store all the elements of the set in the case the tool is supplied in.
Clean the casing of the tool with a wet, dry cloth. Clean the head and the safety device and lubricate them with a couple of drops
of oil. To lubricate the nailing tool use a SAE 10 oil for pneumatic tools.
Other maintenance activities
Every six months or after 100 hours of work, the tool must be revised by qualifi ed personnel in an authorised workshop.
Repairs
Should any defects be detected, operation of the tool must be interrupted immediately. Work with a defective tool may cause
injuries. Any repairs and replacements of the elements of the tool must be realised by qualifi ed personnel in an authorised
workshop.
Problem
The ventilator does not start or its rotation is lower than usual.
The battery charge diode shines red.
The safety device does not fully slide in – the nailing machine
is not nailing.
The nailing machine does not function – the ventilator is
working, the battery charge diode shines green.
The nailing machine is functioning properly, but the nails are
not fully driven in.
The nailing machine is functioning properly, but the nails are
not driven in.
The tool is not working properly or shows signs of decreased
power.
The nailing machine is functioning properly, the nails are
driven in, but the safety device does not return to the neutral
position.

Possible solution
Run-down battery; replace or charge the battery.
The switch safety device is activated. Fill the dispenser with nails.
The safety device is curved. Send the tool to an authorised workshop.
The dirt precludes free movement of the safety device. Clean and lubricate the safety device.
The gas cartridge is empty – replace the gas cartridge.
No spark – revise the terminals of the battery; if necessary clean the terminals. If the problem persists,
send the tool to an authorised workshop.
Adjust the depth of nailing.
Low level of gas in the cartridge – replace the gas cartridge.
Damaged gasket in the combustion chamber – press the safety device to the material and keep it in
this position for approximately one minute, and then press the switch. If the nail is not completely driven
in, the gasket in the combustion chamber is damaged – send the tool to an authorised workshop.
Size of the nails is beyond the range indicated in the manual – use solely nails of the dimensions
indicated in the manual.
The dispenser pusher does not push nails – release the pusher safety device
Jammed nail – eliminate jamming.
The gas cartridge is empty – replace the gas cartridge.
No spark – revise the terminals of the battery; if necessary clean the terminals.
Dirty air fi lter – clean the fi lter.
The dirt precludes free movement of the safety device. Clean and lubricate the safety device.
