Transmitting
Connecting the earpiece to the RSM and the
RSM to the radio does not disable the radio's
microphone and push-to-talk (PTT) switch.
Removing the Earpiece from the RSM
Carefully pull the earpiece's 3.5 mm plug from
the RSM's 3.5 mm audio jack. Remember to
reattach the RSM's audio jack rubber seal
when a secondary accessory is not being
used.
SERVICE
Other than replacing the rubber eartip (or other
in-the-ear options), and the earphone itself,
the PMLN7560 Receive-Only Earpiece with
Translucent Tube is not repairable.
Order replacement earpiece parts as
necessary.
