Problem Possible cause Solution
Plug fuse blown (UK only) Replace fuse (UK only)
Machine will not start
Circuit breaker tripped Reset circuit breaker
Tool fault Have the tool serviced by an authorised Silverline service centre
Wheel out of balance Dress wheels
Wheel loose Turn off immediately and retighten wheel fittings
Wheel damaged Turn off immediately and replace the wheel
Excessive vibration when in use
Tool not fully secured to workbench Check and tighten bolts and fittings
Tool has been directly bolted to metal workbench or Fit a vibration-reducing material between the tool and the workbench
rubber feet missing or damaged surface. A small piece of wood would be suitable
