1. Adjust the depth of cut to 0 mm to access the
clamping screws of the riving knife.
2. Loosen the screws (u) and pull out the riving
knife to its maximum length.
3. Adjust the clearance.
4. Tighten the screws (torque: 4 - 5 Nm).
Mounting and Adjusting the Parallel
Fence (fi g. 7)
The parallel fence (o) is used for cutting parallel to
the edge of the workpiece.
MOUNTING
1. Slacken the locking screw (v) as to allow the
parallel fence to pass.
2. Insert the parallel fence (o) in the saw shoe (f) as
shown.
3. Tighten the locking screw (v).
ADJUSTING
1. Slacken the locking screw (v) and set the
parallel fence (o) to the desired width.
2. Tighten the locking screw (v).
Prior to Operation
• Make sure the guards have been mounted
correctly. The saw blade guard must be in
closed position.
• Make sure the saw blade rotates in the direction
of the arrow on the blade.

Proper Hand Position (fi g. 8)

Proper hand position requires one hand on the front
handle (c), with the other hand on the main handle
(x).
Switching On and Off (fi g. 2)
For safety reasons the on/off switch (a) of your tool is
equipped with a lock-off button (b).
1. Press the lock-off button to unlock the tool.
2. To run the tool, press the on/off switch (a). As
soon as the on/off switch is released the lock-
off switch is automatically activated to prevent
unintended starting of the machine.

or off when the saw blade touches the
workpiece or other materials.
WARNING: Do not operate the spindle
lock while the tool is running.
Guiding the Tool (fi g. 1, 2)
1. For optimum results, clamp the workpiece
bottom up.
2. Follow the line drawn on the workpiece using
the mark (m).
In case of a bevel angle of 45° follow the line
drawn on the workpiece using the mark (l).
3. Lead the cord away in line with the rear of the
tool.

Your tool is fitted with a dust extraction outlet (e).
