Setting the flush time
You must set the flush time within the first
30 minutes after activating the power
supply.
Prerequisite
–
Refer to illustration sequence
page 251 while carrying out the
instructions.
1
Restart the urinal flush control. →
See "Restarting the urinal flush
control", page 19.
✓ The urinal flush control restarts.
2
Hold a white sheet of paper in front
of the IR sensor on the bottom edge
of the urinal ceramic appliance for at
least 2 seconds.
✓ 2 short signal tones will sound
after 2 seconds.
3
Remove the white sheet of paper.
4
Hold your hand in front of the IR
sensor within 10 s econds.
5
Remove your hand after the
required number of signal tones.
✓ As soon as you place your hand
in front of the sensor, the flush is
actuated. 1 signal tone
corresponds to a flush volume of
approx. 0.2 l. Example: 12 signal
tones = approx. 2.4 l.
✓ 2 short signal tones confirming
the setting will sound 2 seconds
after you have taken your hand
away.
Result
✓ The flush time is set. The urinal is ready
for operation.

Optimising the detection
distance
• If flushes are actuated too soon, too late
or unintentionally, you can optimise the
detection distance of the IR sensor. For
this, you must remeasure the detection

,
range.
• You must optimise the detection distance
within the first 30 minutes after activating
the power supply.

Result
✓ Once the procedure has been
completed, the flush will be actuated
and the detection distance will be set.
The urinal is ready for operation.
Restart the urinal flush control. →
See "Restarting the urinal flush
control", page 19.
✓ The urinal flush control restarts.
Hold a white sheet of paper in front
of the IR sensor on the bottom edge
of the urinal ceramic appliance.
✓ 2 short signal tones will sound
after 2 seconds.
Keep the white sheet of paper in
front of the IR sensor for a further
15 seconds.
Remove the white sheet as soon as
a signal tone sounds every second.
Step away from the urinal for at least
10 seconds so that the detection
range can be remeasured.
