4 Usage
For this section, refer to FIGURE 1.2.
4.1

Leg Height Adjustment

1.
Loosen the leg collar.
2.
Depress the snap buttons and slide the leg to
the proper height for the user.
3.
Tighten the leg collar.
WARNING
Ensure that the snap buttons fully
protrude through the height
adjustment hole, otherwise injury or
damage may occur. An audible
"click" will be heard when the snap
buttons engage in the height
adjustment holes.

Cuff Height Adjustment

1.
Loosen the cuff collar.
2.
Depress the snap button and slide the cuff to
the proper height for the user.
3.
Tighten the cuff collar.
WARNING
Ensure that the snap button fully
protrudes through the height
adjustment hole, otherwise injury
or damage may occur. An audible
"click" will be heard when the snap
button engages in the height
adjustment hole.

5 Care and Maintenance

DO NOT use an abrasive detergent, cleaner or cloth to clean or dry the elbow crutches.
1.
Regular cleaning of the elbow crutches is recommended. Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth and allow
all surfaces to dry before use.
2.
Regular inspection of parts including hardware, brackets, and plastics, for deformation, corrosion,
breakage, wear or compression is recommended. Replace the crutches if any of these conditions exist.
3.
If hand grips are loose, DO NOT use the crutches. If rubber crutch tips are worn or cracked, replace the
crutch tips IMMEDIATELY.
