5 Mounting
The unit can be placed on a firm, even, heat-resistant
surface. However, it can also be suspended from a
crossbar via its mounting bracket (1).
IMPORTANT
Always place the unit so that a sufficient air ventila-
tion is ensured during operation.
The unit must have a minimum distance of 50 cm
to adjoining surfaces and the air vents at the hous-
ing must not be covered in any case.
Pay in any case attention to a sufficient distance to
easily flammable material or material sensitive to
heat.
To align the unit, release the two setscrews (4) at the
mounting bracket. Adjust the desired inclination of the
unit and retighten the screws.
WARNING
The unit must be mounted in a safe
and expert way. If it is installed as a
suspended load above persons, it
must additionally be secured (e. g. by
a safety rope at the mounting bracket;
fix the safety rope in such a way that
the maximum falling distance of the
unit is 20 cm).
6 Operation
Connect the mains cable to the mains jack (6) and the
mains plug to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus,
the unit is switched on. To switch off the unit, dis-
connect the mains plug.
For a more convenient operation it is recommend-
ed to connect the unit to a mains socket which can be
switched on and off via a light switch.
