8.2. ATTACHING THE EARTIPS AND
OPTIONAL RETENTION CORD
1. Place one end of the retention cord onto one of the eartip
stems.
2. Push eartips onto the eartip stem.
3. Fully seat the eartip at the base of the eartip stem.
4. Repeat for the second earpiece.
8.3. TO FIT THE DISPOSABLE WINDSCREEN
The windscreen may help minimize wind noise in high wind
conditions.
1. Remove a disposable windscreen from the perforated
windscreen sheet backing.
2. Locate the earplug microphone.
3. Carefully center the disposable windscreen over the
microphone port and press the adhesive backed windscreen
to the microphone port.
4. To detach, remove the windscreen and dispose when
necessary.
Note: After storing and/or recharging the earplug, inspect the
windscreen for damage and replace if damaged..
8.4. TO FIT THE EARPLUGS
Note: Make sure the eartips are clean and without damage
before inserting them into the ear canal.
Note: The earplugs power on when removed from the charging
case. When using for the first time and/or determining proper fit
of the eartip, it is necessary to power off the earpieces to
determine degree of sound attenuation. Refer to "9.2. To power
on/OFF the product".
1. Select a proper eartip size for your ear canal. Refer to "8.1.
To select the correct size of the eartip".
2. Hold the earplug with the eartip attached as shown below.
