CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
Damaged power supply cables must be replaced by the competent specialist immediately. Operation with
damaged cables is dangerous to life and is therefore forbidden!
Before putting the machine into operation make sure that the voltage and
frequency specified on the machine type plate comply with the values of the
values of the mains to which it is connected.
Before adjustment and replacement of tools and be-fore any adjustment work, alterations and mainte-nance
work, always turn off the main switch and lock it.
Direction of rotation
If you are standing on the side of the machine at the travel table, the main saw disc must rotate clockwise.
the vertical spindle anticlockwise, and thicknessing machine clockwise
ADJUSTMENT OF THE MACHINE
Adjustment should be only made when the saw is in standstill and the scorer disc is in its lower position!
Adjustment of riving wedge and protective cover
The riving wedge prevents the work piece from getting gripped behind the saw disc while being cut which
might cause kickback of the material. The wedge isadjusted by shifting so that its distance fromthe saw disc
is 3 to 8 and 2 to 3 mm vertically.
Factory settings do not permit to cut with the maximum capacity. To obtain max.cutting capacity, Please ajust
the riving wedge ( Light for his adjustement in height) but respect the previous rules.
The Protection cover is fixed on the hole on the riving wedge.
Saw blade height setting:
The height of the main saw disc is adjusted by turning the hand wheel.
