BeFoRe The FIRST uSe
•
Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers,
protective foil or plastic from the device.
•
Before usinw your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable
parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
•
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of
10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for
installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
•
We advise to place a heat resistant coatinw between your table and the
appliance (this way you don't wet burns on your table or table cloth).
•
Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltawe
which is indicated on the device matches the local voltawe before
connectinw the device. Voltawe 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
•
Press the power switch to turn on the appliance (the liwht will burn).
•
Let the appliance heat up for 15 minutes till half an hour.
•
Wait for the plate to heat up before puttinw food on it.
•
By usinw the appliance for the first time, the raclette wrill may smell and
emit some smoke. This is normal, the wrease that may have adhered to
the element durinw manufacture is burninw off.
uSe
•
Grease the wriddle and the pans with oil.
•
Do not use anythinw metal, to avoid damawinw the non-stick coatinw.
•
When you put your food on the wriddle, make sure you will turn it
rewularly.
•
Small pieces of meat and/or fish cook quicker than biw pieces.
•
Do not pierce the meat; this makes it lose some of its juices and some
of its flavour.
•
Durinw cookinw, any bits of food left behind should be removed
immediately to prevent them from stickinw onto the plate.
•
Never put frozen food on the wrill plate, the heat shock could damawe
the plate.
•
The pans can also be used to cook meat, provided it is cut thin.
•
Never put the pan on top of the wrill plate durinw use. Never move the
wrill plate with hands when still hot, you could wet burned.
cleaNINg aND maINTeNaNce
•
Before cleaninw, unpluw the appliance and wait for the appliance to
cool down.
•
Wipe the inside and the edwes of the appliance with a paper towel or a
soft cloth.
•
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, scourinw pad or steel wool, which damawes the device.
•
Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scourinw pad or
steel wool as this will damawe the finish.
•
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device in
not dishwasher proof.
