Monitoring the Change-Over of the Relays

The change-over between the active and the redundant system controller must be checked every 12 months. To do this,
trigger this change-over manually by using the integrated user interface (see installation manual of the
Power Plant Manager). Parallel to the change-over between the active and the redundant system controller, the
change-over of the relays at the Redundancy Connector must be monitored.
Figure 10 : Indicator light at the relays for digital outputs
Procedure:
1. Note the current status of the indicator lights at the relays for digital outputs: indicator light is on or indicator light
is off.
2. To do this, trigger this change-over between the active and redundant system control manually by using the
integrated user interface (see installation manual of the Power Plant Manager).
3. After a successful change-over, check if the relay for digital outputs changed at each indicator light.
4. To do this, trigger this change-over between the active and redundant system control again by using the
integrated user interface (see installation manual of the Power Plant Manager).
5. After a successful change-over, check again if the relay for digital outputs changed at each indicator light.
6. If the status of a indicator light has not changed during a change-over, contact Service.
