8.
This machine may be connected ONLY to sockets that provide the operating voltage displayed on the
Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position before you insert the power connector into the power socket.
Avoid physical contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, stoves and refrigerators. There
is a high risk of receiving an electric shock if your body is grounded.
Do not allow the scouring machine to come into contact with water, e.g. rain or other wetness or damp-
ness. Water that seeps in could cause the machine to short-circuit, and damage it irreparably. Further-
more, this poses the risk of an electric shock for the user.
Keep the power cable away from the scouring head so that no damage is caused to the cable's insulation.
Never attempt to make alterations to the plug connector or other machine parts with electrical contact.
Should you need to use an extension cable, it must have an adequate conductor cross-section (2,5 mm²)
to prevent voltage drop or overheating. If you intend to use the scouring machine outdoors, the extension
cable you use must also be suitable for outdoor use.
Do not use the power cable as a means of carrying or hanging the scouring machine. Do not pull on the
cable when you wish to disconnect the scouring machine from the power supply. Keep the cable away
from sharp edges, heat and oil.
If the power cable is damaged, have it replaced by a trained professional. Do not attempt to use the scour-
ing machine when there are signs of damage to the cable.
