Attach the pump to a rope and lower it
into the liquid to be pumped.
In order to prevent blockage of the in-
take area, do not place the pump onto
the floor of the pool.
Make sure that the pumps in the well
are able to suction freely. The suction
area of the appliances must not be lo-
cated in the sump of the well. The sub-
mersion depth can be adjusted by
means of the included draw rope or via
a supporting spacer element.

The flow height indicates the height dif-
ference between the water level and
water exit at the end of the flow hose.
You have to adhere to the flow height
for the pump to flow. This must be ob-
served throughout the entire pump run,
as the flow height will increase with a
decreasing water level (due to the
pumping).

The minimum liquid level for the pump to
properly suck in liquids is 10 cm.
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
Note:
Dry run leads to increased wear and tear; do
not leave the pump unattended when it is run-
ning.
As an alternative, you can either use a dry run
fuse or an electronic pressure switch with dry
run fuse. (Available as an accessory.)
Finish operation
Disconnect the main plug from the
socket.
It may be necessary to clean the suction
mesh if the liquid to be transported is very
dirty.
Disconnect the main plug from the
socket.

Caution: Prior to connecting the suction
hose, the integrated backflow valve
must be removed.

Remove the screws and take out the
suction mesh.
Clean the suction mesh with a suitable
brush and rinse with water.
If the pump is blocked by mud or fine
sand, this contamination can be re-
moved by flushing with tap water. For
this, attach the suction hose to the tap
water system and to the pump output
and flush the pump.
