IF VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH PARK VIEW CAMERA SYSTEM
If there is a white 22way connector already present in the
radio, it means that the vehicle is equipped with a rear park
view camera system.
• Connector wires in vehicle with factory installed
park view camera will be located in pins cavities 3,
4 and 5.
a. Unplug the original white 22way connector from the
radio.
b. Using a hooked pick tool, lift up the connector locking
wedge slightly (do not remove it entirely).
c. Before removing any wires from the connector, label
them according with their specific connector cavity
numbers (i.e. PIN 3, PIN 4, PIN 5).
d. Remove the three wires from the connector and
either tape back the connector with the remaining
wires or discard empty.
e. Lift up the locking wedge on the white 22way con
nector located on the DVD power harness.
f. Insert the labeled three wires into the appropriate cavities of the white 22way DVD power harness connector. If
necessary, reference the service manual.
g. Engage the locking wedge and plug the connector into the radio.
PROCEDURE STEPS:
NOTE: A majority of the procedure steps and graphics
depict models equipped with the long rear overhead
console unless noted.
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Using a trim/fiber stick, pry tool or equivalent, remove
and disconnect the rear bezel (1) from the rear over
head console.
