• To remove the curling tongs,
press the clamp lever and pull out.
To "set" the curl, wait until your
hair is cool before brushing or
combing.
• Trick: for better hold, mist the
section
lightly
with
hairspray
before curling.
MAINTENANCE
Once unplugged and cooled, the
tongs may be wiped with a damp
cloth. Make sure that it is completely
dry before plugging it in again.

• WARNING: Do not use

basins, bathtubs or other
vessels.
• If using the appliance in a bathroom,
unplug after use as the proximity
of water can be dangerous even
if the appliance is switched off.
For additional protection, the
installation of residual current
device (RCD) with a rated residual
current not exceeding 30mA is
advisable in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask
your installer for advice.
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids.
• Do not use the appliance if the
cord is damaged. In the event
of damage discontinue use imme-
diately. If the supplied cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid a hazard. Return
the appliance to your retailer.
• Do not leave the appliance
unattended when plugged in or
switched on.
• Take care to avoid the hot surfaces
of the appliance coming into
direct contact with the skin, in
particular the ears, eyes, face and
neck.
• Careful adult supervision is
required when the appliance is
used on, by or near children or
some disabled persons.
