Installation Instructions
1. Trial fit hood product centrally on hood. Note holes in hood
corresponding to four slots in hood product. Note where
outboard 'U' channel fasteners will attach. Use alcohol
swabs to clean top and underneath hood in 'U' channel area.
Note: Before applying the anti-itch tape, make sure to wipe
the area off with a clean and dry cloth to make sure it is
dry and to wipe away any residue left from the alcohol.
2. Apply anti-itch tape and attach 'U' channel fasteners as
noted. See Figure 1.
3. Install plastic screw plugs into holes previously noted. See
Figure 2.
4. Secure hood product to hood using screws and washers
provided. Use small screws and washers in outboard holes.
See Figures 1 and 3.
Note: On vehicles with limited hood to grill clearance it
may be necessary to adjust hood bump stops. (Refer to
owner's manual).
To Remove
1. Loosen and remove screws.
2. Lift hood product away from hood.
To Clean
Use mild detergent and water solution. (Do not use solvents).
Avoid the use of automatic "Brush Style" car washers. When
closing the hood, do not pull on hood product.
