Description
Front Rail
Side Rail
Tools needed:
13mm Socket
Torque Wrench
Front Rail Installation:
1. Carefully unpack front rail.
2. The front rail should be installed before the side rails are
installed.
3. Align the rail's toggles with the holes in the bed as shown in
the illustration. Move the rail so that the toggles are fully
inserted.
4. Before torquing the bolts on the toggles, tighten the bolts
just enough to snug the rail against the side of the pickup
bed.
5. Using the 13mm socket and torque wrench, torque the 8mm
bolts, into the toggle nuts, to 17 Nm (+/- 3 Nm) moving from
left to right or right to left. DO NOT use an impact wrench-
this torque value must be followed.
Side Rail Installation:
1. Carefully unpack side rails.
2. For the side rail installation, make sure the rail is facing
forward as indicated by arrows on the backside of the rail
3. Align the rail's toggles with the holes in the bed as shown in
the illustration, Move the rail so that the toggles are fully
inserted.
4. Before torquing the bolts on the toggles, tighten the bolts
just enough to snug the rail against the side of the pickup
bed.
5. Using the 13mm socket and torque wrench, torque the 8mm
bolts, into the toggle nuts , to 17 Nm (+/- 3 Nm) moving from
front to back or back to front. DO NOT use an impact
wrench- this torque value must be followed.
