Locking of the passive leaf is done upwards via the tube with end plug B
9006 in the door frame as well as downwards via the solid vertical rod B
9006 e.g. in the floor socket B 9009 or B-00280.
The rod position correlates to the backset.
Installation:
For positioning, the passive-leaf control lock B 1895 requires a mounting
space with a diameter of 20 mm and a depth of 45 mm.
Cut a suitable recess in case of a flat faceplate.
Calculate lengths A1 and A2 (without
the threaded pin) of the tube with end
plug B 9006 or solid vertical rod B
9006 according to the below formula
and shorten accordingly.
L1 = Distance from centre of follower
(lever handle) up to the top corner
faceplate of the passive leaf control
lock.
L2 = Distance from centre of follower
(lever handle) up to the top corner
faceplate of the floor socket.
