Instructions
Use these nasal and oral-nasal cannulas for non-intubated patients.
1. Plug the sensor cable into the monitor's CO
sensor two minutes warm up time.
2. Connect the cannula to the sensor. It will click
into place when seated correctly.
3. Zero the sensor
4. Place the nasal cannula onto the patient.
For patients prone to mouth breathing use an oral-nasal cannula.
For nasal or oral-nasal cannulas with oxygen delivery, place the cannula on
the patient as shown then attach the oxygen supply tubing to the oxygen
delivery system and set the prescribed oxygen flow.
Caution Always disconnect the cannula from the sensor when not in use.
For accuracy specifications and further instructions, warnings and cautions,
please consult the monitor instructions for use.
All nasal and oral-nasal cannulas contain no latex.
Operating temperature: 0 - 40°C (32 - 104°F)
Storage temperature: -40 - 70°C (-40 - 158°F)
Cleaning and Disinfection
All cannulas are single-patient-use. Do not clean, disinfect, sterilize, or reuse
accessories designed for single-patient-use.
Follow local governing ordinances and recycling instructions regarding
disposal or recycling of cannulas.
