1. Position the patient onto the sling. Refer to your sling
user manual.
2. Unlock the rear casters.
3. Open the legs. Refer to 5.3 Closing/Opening Legs.

4. Use the steering handle to push the patient lift into
position.
WARNING!
– When using the lift in conjunction with
beds or wheelchairs, be aware of the
position of the lift in relationship to those
other devices so that the lift does not
become entangled.
5. Lower the patient lift for easy attachment of the sling.
6. Proceed to 6.4 Lifting and Transferring the Patient.
