When routing the drain hose, note the following:
• Observe Fig. 3, Fig. 8, Fig. 9 and Fig. 10.
• Route the drain hose as vertically as possible.
• Avoid any kinks in the hose.
• Form a loop where the hose changes into the horizontal plane.
• The hose has an internal diameter of 10 mm. In the horizontal plane, a
conical pipe adapter can be used to fit the hose to larger drain pipes.

The condensate pump is equipped with a detection system, in case there
is an unusually high water level. The detection system can trigger a fault

indication (acoustic or visual from 1.5 V to 230 V and up to 0.5 A).
The switch on the fault indication system is equipped with floating
contacts and is switched as follows under standard operating
conditions:
• Brown wire connection [1] = input voltage
• Black wire connection [2] = closed to brown wire connection ('live')
• Blue wire connection [3] = open (zero volt)
Fault indication example:
Usage of the connections to trigger a fault indication signal. The
maximum current for the fault indication system must not exceed 0.5 A.
B Connect brown wire [1] to a power source.
B Connect blue wire [3] to a light or audio signal.

Connecting an external fault indicator

DANGER: Risk to life from electric shock!
Never open the condensate pump as long as it is
connected to the mains.
B All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
B Before starting electrical work, isolate all poles of
appliances required for connection and secure
against unintentional reconnection.
We recommend connecting the signal cable of the fault
indication system. This means the appliance can be shut
down or a fault indication can be triggered if the
neutralising system is in danger of overflowing.
