If during use or when washing, the anchor loop has become wet,
allow it to dry naturally in the shade away from any source of
heat.

f: year and week of manufacture,
g: serial number,
h: pictogram indicating that the user manual must be read

Periodic inspections and repairs
Yearly servicing is necessary; however, depending on the
frequency of use, environmental conditions and the regulations
of the company or the country where used, periodic inspections
can be more frequent. Periodic inspections should be carried
out by an authorised and competent technician, in compliance
with the manu¬facturer's instructions transcribed in the Tractel®
"PPE inspection instructions" file. Confirm legibility of the
marking on the product during the periodic inspection. A return
to service must be made in writing, under the responsibility of
the authorised and competent technician who carried out the
inspection. Return to service of the product must be recorded on
the inspection record which can be found in the centre of this
manual This inspection record should be retained throughout
the product's life cycle, up until it is recycled. When a system
has arrested a fall, it must be inspected by Tractel® S.A.S or by
an authorised and competent technician in accordance with the
instructions contained in the Tractel® PPE inspection file. The

Service life
Stopcable™ and Stopfor™ fall arresters, Blocfor™ self
retracting fall arresters, and the Tractel® lifelines can be used
without restrictions from their manufacturing date providing that:
- A normal use is made in accordance with the instructions
manual,
- a periodic inspection should be carried out at least once a year
by a competent person, who will, after inspection, authorise in
writing that the PPE is fit to be returned to service,
- Instructions manual procedures for storage and transport are
strictly met.
