Verifi cation before use:
• The AS anchor ring has been subject to periodic
inspection (Section 14).
• The length of the AS anchor ring is compatible with
the size of the intended host structure.
• The breaking strength of the host structure is
greater than or equal to 13 kN or considered as such
(Figure 3).
• The AS Anchor ring is compatible with the sharpness
of the edges of the envisaged host structure.
The AS anchor ring can be used to moor a retractable
fall-arrest or energy absorber or mobile fall-arrester
on rigid anchor or a mobile fall-arrester on a fl exible
anchor.
IMPORTANT
Before and during use, it is necessary to plan
out how possible rescue can be effi ciently and
safely conducted, within less than 15 minutes.
Beyond 15 minutes, the fallen operator is in
danger of dying.

A fall-arrest (EN 353-1/2 – EN 355 – EN 360).

Before using a EN 363 fall-arrester system, the user
must ensure that each of the components is in good
working order.

If an AS anchor ring is dirty, wash it with clean cold
water and possibly with a detergent for delicate
fabrics, using a synthetic brush.
If during use or washing the AS anchor ring is soaked,
leave it to dry naturally in the shade and away from
any heat source.

During transport and storage, protect the equipment in
a moisture-free package against any danger (source
of direct heat, chemical products, UV radiation, etc.).

number 0082.

The label on each AS anchor ring indicates:
a. The trade name: TRACTEL
b. The name of the product, eg: AS19 S 0.6 (AS19 S
anchor ring length 0.6 m),
c. The reference standard followed by the year of
application,
