easily accessible socket so that you can quickly pull the
plug in an emergency.
− Do not use the steam mop if the housing or cord is defec-
tive or has other visible damages. In the event of damage,
only have the steam mop serviced by the manufacturer,
its customer service team or a similarly qualified person to
avoid risks.
− Plug the cord into a socket only when the steam mop is
properly assembled.
− Never try to repair the steam mop yourself. All repairs
must be carried out solely by a qualified electrician.
− Do not use the steam mop when you are standing on wet
floors or when the steam mop or your hands are wet.
− Always pull the plug and not the cord to disconnect the
steam mop from the socket.
− Lay the cord of the steam mop so that it does not pose a
tripping hazard.
− Make sure that the cord of the steam mop is not damaged,
tightly stretched or kinked and is not laying over sharp
edges.
− Do not wrap the power cord around the steam mop,
instead, use the cord wrap.
− Never place the steam mop so that there is a risk of it
falling into a bathtub or sink.
− Do not immerse the steam mop in water, never use it out-
doors or expose it to rain.
− Never reach to retrieve the steam mop if it has fallen in
water. In such case, immediately pull the plug. Have the
steam mop checked before using it again.
− Always switch the steam mop off and pull the plug out of
the socket:
• if you are not using the steam mop,
• before you clean the steam mop,
• before you assemble or disassemble the accessories,
• if a fault occurs,
• in the event of a storm.
