3. TROUBLESHOOTING
This is a table with potential problems, the reason for them and solutions:
PROBLEM
1. Smoke leaking into
the room / Insufficient
flue draught
2. Excessively dirty
glass
3. Whitening of the
glass or damage the
color of the plate
4. Appliance produces
little heat
5. Appliance emitting
smoke / producing bad
odours
6. Cracks in some parts
of vermiculite inside
The inspection of the chimney and the installation of the appliance must be carried out by a
Professional.

REASON
Insufficient flue draught
Insufficient air for combustion
Incorrect flue draught
Poor quality fuel.
Excess temperature caused by an
excessive fire in the combustion
chamber
Poor quality fuel
Insufficient fuel
Burning for the first time
Combustible or inflammable elements
around the appliance or surrounding
walls of the appliance
A crack in the combustion chamber
Beat in one of the pieces performed,
especially at the time of recharge
SOLUTION
-Check that the flue baffle is fully open
-Check that flue
-Connection – Diameter – Leaks - Insufficient
length
- Fire gone out
- Flue may be restricted and requires
sweeping.
-Check the air vents, are they clear.
-Other ventilation or heating device working
simultaneously in the same or adjacent room?
Check the flue draught.
Use authorized fuel
Check the fuel load
Set the registers according to paragraph 2.2.
Use authorized fuels
Add fuel
Ventilate the room and wait for the paint to
cure. This could take several uses
Review insulation materials as fibreglass,
fireproof wood or possible combustible
elements and replace them
Check if the appliance is air tight and if a crack
is seen, do not use your appliance and contact
your dealer.
Try not to pull the logs but put
Perform charging where the temperature of
the combustion chamber has decreased
NOTE: If the part is only cracked but does
not move from your site, you can continue
using the device with absolute normality
