Getting started
STEP 1 : LOADING THE MEDIA ROLL
• remove the media roll guide and media path guide (1 & 3)
• open the mechanism cover (7)
• load the media as displayed and put the guides back (FIG.3)
• load the labels till they are circa 1 cm out the DISTRI-COUNT (FIG.4)
• close the mechanism cover again (FIG.4)
STEP 2 : CALLIBRATION
• adjust the sensor position (4) with the adjustment knob (5) so it is able to detect your labels and the label gap or a
black-mark on the liner material
• switch on the power to start callibration of the label size
• the DISTRI-COUNT presents the first label precizely on the TEAR-OFF-BAR (8) and is now ready for use
• opening and closing from the mechanism cover (7) will initiate a new callibration process
PRESET MODE: COUNTING FIXED NUMBER OF LABELS
• use the 4 arrow buttons (FIG.1) on the control panel to set the required number of labels and push the START/STOP
button
• the DISTRI-COUNT now presents the requested number of labels on the TEAR-OFF-BAR. Tearing-off downwards
• the DISTRI-COUNT counter resets to the initial requested quantity for a new job. Push START/STOP to start again. In
case a different quantity is required, push the clear button and enter the new required number of labels
COUNT MODE: COUNTING LABELS ON ROLL
• make sure the DISTRI-COUNT Display is on 0000 by pushing the CLEAR button or initiating a new callibration
• push the COUNT/STOP button to start counting
• push the COUNT/STOP button again for pauzing/counting
USING THE INTEGRATED REWINDER AND BASE-PLATE
• both in PRESET as in COUNT mode, the integrated rewinder MC-11 makes it easier to count bigger quantities of labels
• place the DISTRI-COUNT on the 4 PINS on the base-plate (FIG.5)
• bundle comes with 1 power supply for both devices, store the power supply under the cover (FIG.6)
• fix the MC-11 rewinder and Paper Guide with the screws on the base
• preset mode: push the START/STOP button to pauze the job and attach the media to an empty take-up core
• count mode: push the COUNT/STOP button to pauze the job and attach the media to an empty take-up core
• use the potentiometer on the MC-11 rewinder to set the speed slightly higher than the speed from the DISTRI-COUNT
to obtain a tight label roll
• bundle comes with 1 power supply for both devices
• your media might be fixed with tape at the end. Stop the DISTRI-COUNT before the tape gets into the platen roller
CONSULTING THE TOTALIZER/COUNTER
• press and hold the CLEAR button on the keypad; after 2 sec the display will show the total job quantity
• to reset the Totalizer back to zero, push and hold the clear button for 2 seconds and hit the arrow key just above
