Ringelbaum
Construction
Put the base board on the table with the slots facing up. Stick the arches into
the 1st, 2nd or 3rd slots from the outside, left and right. Then put both trees
together and insert them both into the wide middle slot at the same time.
Push the wavy boards through the slots on the trees and snap into place
downwards. They can be inserted at different heights if required.
Exercise
The ring tree is placed in front of the body (see diagram) for practising ante-
version and elevation in the shoulder joint (lifting the stretched arms to the
front). The rings are grasped with the right or left hand alternately and hung
on the ring tree. The challenge can be increased if the rings are raised above
the centre line of the body on the wavy boards, with the right hand on the
left side and the left hand on the right side.
The ring tree can be placed next to the body, either left or right, to practise
abduction (raising the arms to the sides). The rings are hung on the tree by
lifting the arms to the sides.

For exercising the shoulder /
arm joint: adduction / abducti-
on movement (crossing the
centre line of the body),
anteversion and elevation in
the shoulder joint (increasing
range of movement when
lifting the arm).
Module
Base board, 2 arches, 2 trees,
wooden rings.
PS-Brett
Construction
Put the base board on the table with the slots facing up. Stick the arches into
the 1st, 2nd or 3rd slots from the outside, left and right. First, hang the PS
board in the tree at the required height, then stick the two trees in left and
right. Attach the required number and arrangement of sticks into the FEPS
rod.
Exercise
Grip the FEPS rod in the fist of one hand to avoid movement as much as pos-
sible. It is fed horizontally through the slots in the PS board. The required pro
or supination movement is largest when the sticks are inserted one below the
other in a crosswise formation. If the sticks are in a staggered arrangement, a
screw movement can be achieved. The star-shaped slots in the PS board are
mainly for movement coordination exercises. The FEBS rod should be fed
through from the front and not left hanging. The centre slot requires the lar-
gest twisting movements.
For practising pro and supination in
the wrist and elbow joints and move-
ment coordination.
