16.2.3 Setting the angular position of the machine head
16.2.4 Setting the stops/fences
16.2.5 Setting cutting depth / cutting depth limiting
HOLZMANN MASCHINEN GmbH
The two adjustable stops (1 and 2) must be adjusted after
changing the machine head angle. To do this, loosen the
fixing screws (1a and 2a) and adjust the fences so that
there is a gap of at least 5 mm between the saw blade and
fence. Then retighten the fixing screws to fix the stops.
Markings for 0°, 30° and 45° cuts are provided for
orientation on the adjustable fence and must be aligned
with the arrow on the fixed fence depending on the
selected machine head angle position.
There are 2 screws for the cutting depth adjustment.
Cut depth limit I: lowest cutting depth limit and adjustable
with screw 1.
Cut depth Limit II: Cutting depth limit above the lowest
limit and adjustable with screw 2.
The switching whether limitation I or II is active is realized
by means of a metal plate (3). Metal plate (3) in extreme
right position (limitation II inactive and cutting depth limited
by screw 1): Metal plate (3) in left position (limitation I
inactive and cutting depth limited by screw 2).
The cutting depth for limitation II can be adjusted
continuously with screw (2). To do this, loosen the knurled
nut (2a) on screw (2). Turn the screw (2) on or off to set
the desired cutting depth. Then retighten the knurled nut
(2a).
The lowest cutting depth limit limitation I is adjusted by
means of screw 1. To do this, loosen the nut (1a) and screw

Release the angle lock (1) and use the
handle (2) to tilt the machine head to the
left or right until the desired angle (pointer
position (3)) is reached. Retighten the angle
lock (1).
Note: To swivel to the right side (R), the
stop limit for 90° cuts (4) must first be
turned down.

Before cutting, check that the stop bars and
the saw blade cannot collide. (simulated cut
