Remove and clean the brushes or the scraper disks.
To avoid damaging the floor and the machine,
carefully check if foreign matter, such as metallic
parts, screw s, chips, cords or similar items, has
become j ammed.
Check that the brushes are flat as they w ork on
the surface (check for any irregular w ear on the
brushes or on the abrasive disks). If necessary,
adj ust the slant of the action on the floor.
Use only the accessories recommended by the ma-
nufacturer: other products may reduce operating
safety.

Use a sponge or a soft cloth to clean the ex terior of
the machine and, if necessary, a soft brush to elimi-
nate tough dirt. The machine's shockproof surface
is rough to make it harder to see scratches caused
during use. How ever, this does not make it easier
to remove tough stains on the surface. It is prohi-
bited to use steam machines, hoses w ith running
w ater and high-pressure cleaners.

B A T T E R I E S
PB-Acid batteries
Carry out maintenance operations in accordance
w ith the manufacturer's instructions and w ith all
the other instructions provided in this manual.
Ex posing the element plates (not completely im-
mersed in the acid solution) w ill lead to rapid ox ida-
tion and irreparably reduce the element's operating
capacities.
An overflow ing acid solution may corrode the ma-
chine.
Use battery chargers recommended by the manu-
facturer and, in any case, those that are suitable
for the type of battery to be charged.
Alw ays charge batteries in w ell-ventilated rooms:
there is an ex plosion risk!
The use of gel or maintenance-free batteries is hi-
ghly recommended.
GEL batteries
Carry out maintenance operations in accordance
w ith the manufacturer's instructions and w ith all
the other instructions provided in this manual.
Use only those battery chargers recommended by
the manufacturer.

T H E R M A L B R E A K E R S
The machine is equipped w ith electric protection
devices on the main operating components to
avoid costly malfunctions.
Thermal breakers are installed to protect the drive
motor w herever foreseen and the brush motor.
When one of these breakers trips automatically,
the disabled function can be reactivated by fully
depressing the button of the breaker.
When the thermal breakers trip, especially w hen
the machine is used during the first few
might not be caused by actual machine malfun-
ctions. How ever, a specialized technician should
check the device if the relative breaker continues
to trip.
