Locking for continuous mode:
While the machine is switched on,
keep the switch safety lock (b) pressed
and let go of the switch (a).
To release, press switch (a) again and
then let go.
When switching on, the motor starts
running gently after a short delay.
If the power supply is interrupted while
the power tool is switched on, or the
power tool is plugged in when it is in
switched-on mode, a residual current
protective device prevents it from starting
to run automatically. To put the power
tool into operation, briefly switch it off
and on again.

Before adjusting, pull out the mains plug.
Before using for the first time, mount the
protective guard:
Insert the nose of the protective guard
into the groove of the machine and
turn the protective guard.
Adjusting the protective guard:
Loosen the lever (c).
Turn the protective guard (4) to the
required position.
Engage the lever (c).
If the protective guard is loose when the
lever is engaged, adjust the nut with the
lever opened.

Before adjusting, pull out the mains plug.
The handle of the machine has 4 posi-
tions.
Press the release button (d), without
pressing the switch safety lock (b).
Turn the handle of the machine and
engage it in the desired position.
Secure or change the
grinding tool (3).

Before changing the tool, pull out the mains
plug.
Press the locking button (2) and keep-
ing it pressed, loosening the threaded
flange using the face spanner.
Screw out the threaded flange.
Change the grinding tool or place it on.
Make sure that the grinding tool is
properly centred between the inner
and threaded flange. Screw in the
threaded flange by hand.
Press the locking button (2) and keep-
ing it pressed, tightening the threaded
flange using the face spanner.
Cleaning and care.

Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug.
Carry out the following once a week,
or more often if the power tool is used
more frequently:
Clean the venting openings.
Blow out the motor space from outside
with dry compressed air.
