WARNING: Carry out the installation in a "workmanlike" manner, strictly following the installation instructions and
using suitable tools. Always consult your local building department for code requirements that must be respected
depending on its destination of use (private, secondary, public...).
Before starting with assembly, unpack all the parts of the staircase. Arrange them on a large surface and check
the number of parts against the attached parts list.
The staircase structure is composed of three different types of support:
1) Final support 116012 and 116022 to fasten the staircase to the top landing floor.
2) Intermediate support 116002 and 116004, respectively with two different going measurements, 19-22.5 cm
and 22.5-26 cm, depending on the configuration chosen.
Caution: For the versions with a tread width of 74 and 81cm and a straight tread going of 22.5-26 cm, the
intermediate supports have a going of 19-22.5 cm in correspondence to the corner treads.
3) Base support 116006 for fastening the staircase to the floor (Fig. 1).
Preliminary assembly
1. Carefully measure the floor-to-floor height (H) (Fig. 2).
2. Carefully measure the floor opening (F) (Fig. 2).
3. Calculate the value of the going (P):
For the versions with a tread width of 67-74 cm and a going of 19-22.5 cm:
Subtract the following dimensions from the floor opening (F) value obtained:
1) final tread, select one of the two possible measurements: 29 and 26.5 cm;
2) corner treads;
3) distance from the wall: 2 to 6 cm.
Divide this value by the remaining number of treads.
Example: for a floor opening of 228cm and a staircase with a tread width of 74cm:
228 – 29 – 68 – 3 / 6 = 21.33 cm (Fig. 5).
For the versions with a tread width of 74 / 81 / 88 / 95 cm and a going of 22.5-26 cm:
Subtract the following dimensions from the floor opening (F) value obtained:
1) final tread, select one of the three possible measurements: 32, 29, and 26.5 cm;
2) corner or landing treads;
3) distance from the wall: 3 to 6 cm.
b) Divide this value by the remaining number of treads.
Example: for a floor opening of 290cm and a staircase with a tread width of 81cm:
290 – 29 – 75 – 4 / 7 = 26 cm (Fig. 6).
4. Calculate the value of the average rise:
Subtract 20cm (height of first rise) from the floor-to- floor height (H) previously measured.
Divide this value by the number of rises minus one. The value obtained must be a number between 18 and
23 cm.
Example: for a measured floor-to-floor height of 276cm and a staircase with 14 rises:
(276 – 20 / 14 – 1) = 19.7 cm (Fig. 2).
5. Determine the number of spacers 031078.
a) To determine the total number of spacers 031078 in relation to the number of staircase rises and the
floor-to-floor height (H), use TAB. 2 (H = height, A = rise).
Example: for a measured floor-to-floor height of 276cm and a staircase with 14 rises: in correspondence
to 276 in row A=14, you read 41. One at a time and in sequence distribute the spacers 031078 on the
prepared part of the supports until they have all been used up.
b) To calculate the number of spacers if the required number of rises is not indicated in TAB. 2:
Calculate the average rise value.
Subtract 18cm (minimum rise height) from the average rise value.
Multiply this value by the number of rises less two.
Divide the result by 0.5.
Example: for a measured floor-to-floor height of 276cm and a staircase with 14 rises, the average rise value is:
(276 – 20 / 14 – 1) = 19.7 cm (the value obtained must be a number between 18 and 23 cm).
(19.7 – 18) x (14 - 2) / 0.5 = 40.8 = 41.
One at a time and in sequence distribute the spacers 031078 on the prepared part of the supports until they
have all been used up.
6. If necessary, cut parts 033150 (cutting is necessary for depth C=29cm) along the pre-cutting line. Assemble
