2. In total a maximum of
20 metres of air pipe may be
used for cold air distribution
– but individual pipes must
be no more than 8 m in
length.
3. Lay the air tubes as short
as possible and in a straight
line to the air outlet nozzles.
The air pipes must not
be kinked or crushed.
Circulating air return
The circulating air is sucked
in again by the device, either
through an additional air
grille (1 – Special Accessory
Part no. 40040-29200), for ex-
ample in the wall of the stow-
age compartment, or via a
number of smaller apertures
with a total surface area of at
least 500 cm².
Trouble-shooting list
Fault
The green LED on the control
panel does not illuminate
after switching on.
Heating has been selected
at the control panel but the
equipment is not heating.
Cooling has been selected
at the control panel but the
equipment is not cooling.
Condensation on equipment
or cold air pipes.
Device not providing ad-
equate cooling or heating
(compressor switching off
prematurely).
If these measures do not lead to the rectification of the fault, in principle we would ask you to contact
Truma After-Sales Service (see page 22).
Important note: The ventila-
tion in the installation area
must be in the immediate
vicinity of the equipment to
provide perfect air exchange.
Partitions must be installed if
necessary to prevent the cir-
culated air return from being
affected by stowed objects.
Installation of the
control panel
1. Fig. E: Select a suitable
location for the control panel
in the vicinity of the air condi-
tioning unit (cable length 3 m).
A 5 m extension cable is
available if necessary
(Part no. 40040-54400).
If it is not possible to
install the control panels
flush with the surface, Truma
can provide a surface-mount-
ing frame (12) on request, as
a special accessory (Part no.
40000-52600).
Cause
– No 230 Volt supply voltage.
– Connector to control panel
not contacting.
– Device fuse faulty.
The temperature setting on
the control panel is lower
than the room temperature.
The temperature setting on
the control panel is higher
than the room temperature.
Doors or windows are open
(high humidity).
– Fluff filter is contaminated.
– Air intake is blocked.
2. Drill a Ø 55 mm hole.
3. Push control panel cable
(13) through to rear and route
to air conditioning unit. At-
tach plug of control panel
cable to terminal strip on
front of equipment. Fit con-
trol panel (14) with 4 screws
(15) and attach the shrouding
frame (16).
To round off the appear-
ance of the cover frame,
Truma can provide side piec-
es (17) as special
accessories in 8 different col-
ours (please ask your
dealer).
Rectification
Check mobile home (static) mains connection fuses.
Check connections.
Check and replace device fuse.
Select higher temperature at control panel (wide red bar).
Heating operation is not possible at temperatures of less
than + 3°C.
Select lower temperature at control panel (wide blue bar).
The compressor does not run at room temperatures of
less than 20°C and the yellow LED on the control panel
illuminates.
Close doors and windows and set to maximum cooling with
fast fan speed at control panel.
Clean fluff filter or replace with new filter.
Ensure that intake is clear.
Function test
All device functions must be
tested as described in the
operating instructions.
The operating instructions
must be handed to the owner
with the warranty card
completed.
