- INSTALLATION
4.1 Connection to the air supply
•
Make sure the safety catch (5) is engaged.
•
Set the pressure to 1000 kPa (10 bar).
•
Check the air filter mesh and housing to be found against the air fitting (3). Clean if necessary.
•
Connect the supply hose to the fitting (3) having first made sure that the fitting is thoroughly clean. The inside diameter
must be at least 6 mm.
NOTE
Check the hose to be connected to the fitting (3). It must not be cut or squashed.

- USO DELL'ATTREZZO
5.1 Control devices
To start the shear, the safety catch (5) must be kept in its forward position. Press the control lever (6).
To stop the tool, just release the control lever.
5.2 Operating instructions
WARNING!
•
Do not use the tool without the hand protection (4).
•
Always wear the adequate and suitable safety clothing for the work to be carried out. Wear a protective helmet,
avoid loose clothing, ties, necklaces, belts or long hair, if not properly tied, which could get caught in moving parts.
Once the operator is holding the tool in his hand, the operations to be performed are the following:
a)
Put a branch between the blades carefully, then press the trigger (6) and cut the branch.
b)
Once the branch has been cut, release the trigger to open the blades and repeat the operation a).
5.3 Trouble-shooting
FAULT
The shear does not work.
The shear is not powerful enough.
With the control lever pressed, air leaks out.
NOTE
If the above remedies do not solve the problem, contact an authorised service center.

REMEDY
• Check the compressor for proper functioning
(see relative documentation).
• Check the air supply (see par. 4.1).
• Check the air hose for cleanness (see par. 4.1).
• Check the blade pin for overtightness.
• Check the compressor air pressure.
• Check the valve stem seal wear (see par. 6.2.4).
