INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The N 71 full-face helmet is equipped with a removable chin guard. It can be used with
different configurations as described at the end of the paragraph.
Using the helmet in its full configuration (chin guard fastened and visor closed) defi-
nitely guarantees a higher level of protection.

VISOR MECHANISM SYSTEM

DISASSEMBLY
1.1.1 Open the visor completely.
1.1.2 Press and hold the visor release button (A) down and slide the visor forward until it
clicks (Fig. 1).
1.1.3 Free the visor fastenings (B1 and B2) from their housing (Fig. 2).
1.1.4 Follow the same steps on the other side of the helmet.

ASSEMBLY
1.2.1 Set the visor in open position by placing the visor fastenings (B1 and B2) in line with
the appropriate seats in the visor mechanism (Fig. 2).
1.2.2 Insert fastening B1 in the appropriate seat and press the visor against the shell in line
with fastening B2.
1.2.3 Slide the visor backwards until the visor locks into place.
1.2.4 Follow the same steps on the other side of the helmet.
WARNING!

After each assembly or disassembly procedure of the different parts, check that the
visor mechanism works properly by pulling the visor up and down; if necessary, repeat
the steps described above.

Do not remove the visor opening/closing mechanisms from the shell.

If the visor opening/closing mechanisms are not working properly or if such mecha-
nisms get damaged, please contact a Nolan authorised dealer.

NFRS PLUS - NOLAN FOG RESISTANT SYSTEM
The innovative NFRS PLUS is effective against fogging and condensation over the visor thus
providing the best possible visibility both upwards and laterally.

INNER VISOR ASSEMBLY
2.1.1 Remove the visor.
2.1.2 Make sure that the inner surface of the visor is clean and check that the pin adjustment
external levers are turned inwards.
2.1.3 If present, remove the protective film from the inner visor on the face in contact with
the visor.
2.1.4 Rest one side of the inner visor onto one of the visor pins and hold it in position (Fig. 3).
2.1.5 Widen the visor and fasten the other side of the inner visor to the second pin (Fig. 4).
2.1.6 Release the visor.
2.1.7 Remove the second protective film from the inner visor and check that the entire inner
visor profile adheres to the visor.
2.1.8 Fit the visor in the helmet.
