ATTACH BELT CLIP / RIVET
APPLICATION PLATE
This work step is optional and only
necessary if the belt clip or rivet
application plate are needed.

Retaining screw
Precondition:
•
Belt clip / rivet application plate is needed.
1. Push the belt clip / rivet application plate into
the slot.
2. Insert the retaining screw into the bore of the
belt clip / rivet application plate.
3. Tighten the retaining screw using a
screwdriver.
4. Check by hand whether the belt clip / rivet
application plate is securely attached.

CHARGE THE BATTERY
The battery can be recharged at
any time without shortening its
service life. Interruption of the
charging cycle does not damage
the battery.
1. Press the battery release button and remove
the battery from the setting tool.
2. Push the battery onto the charger.
3. Place the charger with battery onto a safe,
level surface.
4. Plug the cable of the charger into a plug
socket.
The battery is charged.

5. When LED 1 on the charger is green and
LED 2 on the charger is red, the battery is fully
charged and can be removed from the charger.
The battery is ready for use.

UNLOCK THE SETTING TOOL
The setting tool is locked on
delivery and must be unlocked
before the first use.
1. Insert the battery into the setting tool.
2. Press the trigger briefly.
The locked starting mask appears on the
»
screen.
3. Hold the OK key pressed for 2 seconds.
The PIN input keypad appears on the
»
screen.
4. Enter the PIN using the arrow keys.
The default PIN is 1234. The PIN
can be changed at any time, see
chapter 3.6.
5. Confirm the selection with the OK key.
The Rivdom eVNG Main menu appears on
»
the screen.
6. Select menu item Expert using the arrow keys.
7. Confirm the selection with the OK key.
Select sub-menu Expert appears on the
»
screen.
