Always perform an autotest before and after
using the detector.
Never use the detector if the autotest is
incorrect.
Verify the presence of voltage on the three
phases to be tested on a three-phase network.
Phase rotation test:
Place the red test probe on the first phase and
the black test probe on the second phase.
Press the phase rotation button.
Result:
If the phase rotation order is direct, LED L1 to
L2 comes on: the rotation direction is direct.
If the phase rotation order is indirect, LED L1
to L3 comes on.
NB: The voltage detection function remains active
during this test.
Characteristics and range for use:
• Voltage : 360V < U < 690V
• Frequency : 50Hz and 60Hz (± 5 %)
30 mA differential circuit-breaker
tripping (RCDs) test
Attention: This test involves creating a fault current
between the phase and earth > 30mA with
230VAC.
Place the red test probe on the phase and
the black test probe on the earth terminal bar.
A voltage indication is displayed.
Press the test button.
The 30mA differential circuit breaker must
trip. After disconnecting (the circuit breaker),
the voltage indication disappears.
Characteristics and range for use:
• Voltage : 230V Ph/E
• Fault current generated > 30mA
• Frequency: 50Hz and 60Hz (± 5 %)
NB 1: This test can be performed on 2 P + E
power sockets with the C.A 751 accessory.
