The gap between the spoiler and the front bumper must be exactly the same on both the
EN
left and the right (see detail).
› Check that the spoiler has been positioned correctly in accordance with the drawn-on lines
and figures 3 and 4.
› Press the spoiler onto the bumper and the areas where it is to be adhered.
› To prevent the applied adhesive from being spread beyond where the spoiler is supposed
to be adhered, it is important to make sure that the spoiler does not move once it has been
adhered.
› Hold the spoiler in place and use body tape to secure it roughly where shown in the figure.
› Two people are required to carry out this step.
Please note: Make sure that the necessary gaps are left between the
components.

› Peel all the protective sheets away from the pieces of adhesive tape, starting with the short
protective sheets at the sides, followed by the two sheets at the top and then the sheet at
the bottom. Dispose of the sheets as sorted waste.
› Press the spoiler onto the front bumper by hand.
› Two people are required to carry out this step.
Please note: Once the spoiler has been adhered, it cannot be re-
moved and then readhered. It is therefore important to ensure that
the spoiler is in the correct position before you begin adhering it.

Once the component has been adhered, the vehicle must be stored in a protected envi-
ronment for 24 hours (at a temperature between 18 and 30 °C).
Please note: After 1 hour, use a plastic putty knife to remove the
residual adhesive sealant that has been squeezed out around the
adhered component, and then clean it with a suitable cleaning agent.
If the fixing tape is disturbed when the component is being cleaned,
the tape must be removed, the surface that was underneath it must
be cleaned and fresh tape must then be applied.
The vehicle must not be moved for the remaining time – the adhesive
sealant must dry properly. Remove the pieces of adhesive tape once
this time has elapsed.
