TOOL ASSEMBLY

The product must be assembled before use. The table locking screw should be screwed into the hole in the arm of the worktable
(II), but should not be tightened as far as possible, as this will block the horizontal rotation of the cutting head.
Screw in (XIII) the screw locking the lateral tilt of the cutting head as far as possible. It is recommended that the head is locked in
the zero position during the preparatory work. The manner of adjusting the angle has been described in detail in further sections
of this manual.
The sides of the table should be equipped with extensions to extend the size of the table when cutting elements larger than the
table size. Extensions can be slid under the table if not needed. Unscrew both screws at the ends of the extension rods. Pull the
extension position locking lever (III), then slide the extensions into the holes in the side of the table (III). Screw in the screws into
the holes at the end of the extension rods. This will prevent the extension from the complete sliding out of the table.
At the end of the guides of the cutting head, mount the handle for the assistant operator. The handle should be screwed to the
guide holder (IV). When cutting workpieces much longer than the worktable size with the extensions installed, external fi xing ele-
ments, e.g. clamps, supports, vices, etc. should be used to securely and safely fi x the workpiece to the mitre saw table.

PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR OPERATION

Caution! All preparatory work must be carried out with the product disconnected from the power supply. The tool power cord plug
must be disconnected from the socket.
Activities before starting work
The tool must be attached at the workplace, to a worktable, stand or similar workstation. All guards and safety devices must be
properly secured before starting the machine. Make sure that the circular saw can rotate freely. When working with wooden ma-
terial, pay attention to foreign elements, such as nails, screws, etc. Before starting the machine, make sure that all moving parts
can move smoothly over the full range and that the circular saw is securely fastened. Make sure that the power supply parameters
comply with the ones shown on the tool's rating plate before connecting the power cord plug to the power supply.
Place the mitre saw on a level and stable surface, for example on a worktable. The mounting height should be chosen according
to the height of the operator, so that the tool can be freely operated without reaching too far, while ensuring a stable and safe
posture of the operator.
The base of the worktable has been equipped with holes for fi xing it to the fl oor. Use screws and nuts if necessary.
Circular saw installation and replacement
Caution! Disconnect the mitre saw from the power supply by removing the plug from the socket before installing or replacing the
circular saw.
When replacing the circular saw, use protective gloves to avoid being injured by the blade.
Lift the cutting head, then lift the circular saw guard. Unscrew the circular saw guard screw (V) and lift the guard to access the
circular saw fi xing screw. Press and hold the spindle lock button (VI). Use a wrench to slowly turn the nut together with the circular
saw (VII). Turn it in the direction of the circular saw rotation as indicated by the arrow on the fi xed guard and the circular saw
until the button blocks spindle rotation. While holding the button, continue to turn the wrench until the circular saw fi xing screw is
completely removed.
Remove the circular saw external fi xing fl ange, circular saw and internal fi xing fl ange (VIII).
Before installing a new circular saw, remove dirt and dust from the clamp and both fl anges. Place the internal fi xing fl ange on
the spindle. Attach the circular saw so that the direction of its rotation corresponds to the direction of rotation shown by the arrow
on the guard. Then install the external fi xing fl ange and, holding the spindle lock, tighten the circular saw fi xing screw fi rmly and
securely. Install the guards in the reverse order of disassembly.
After installation, check that the circular saw rotates freely, perpendicularly and at an angle of 45 degrees.
Caution! After changing the angle of the table, make sure that the circular saw or the cutting head does not come into contact with
obstacles during operation. Check whether the full range of the mitre saw operation can be used, without switching the tool on. If
necessary, make the required adjustments by removing obstacles.
Guidelines for using circular saws
Warning! Make sure that the permitted circular saw speed is equal to or higher than the mitre saw speed. Use of a circular saw
which does not meet the above conditions will cause the circular saw to fall apart during operation, which can cause serious injury.
The circular saw must be selected according to the workpiece. The higher the number of teeth, the higher the quality of the cut, it
is recommended to use a disc with 48 teeth to cut laminated boards and hard material. If the workpiece contains staples, nails or
other structural elements, circular saws intended for cutting structural timber should be used.
Only discs recommended by the manufacturer should be used: discs for cutting wood and wood-based materials with teeth made
of carbide meeting the requirements of the EN 847-1 standard with the parameters specifi ed in the technical data table. Make sure
that the speed indicated on the disc is greater than or equal to the speed indicated on the tool.
Do not use damaged cutting discs. Before commencing any work, the cutting disc must be inspected and, in the event of cracks,
