Excessive clogging of the separating cartridges will lead to an increase in pressure drop.
The flow will diminish, the motor current and pump temperature will increase. The
cartridges risk splitting and the pump will emit fumes through its exhaust.

Assembly instructions:
Remove the nuts [1] and plate [2] with its gasket.
Unscrew [3] so as to release and remove the clamping bow [4]. Remove the oil separating cartridge [5].
Reassembly:
Position the tip of the cartridge correctly in the exhaust unit recess so that the O-ring [6] bears against the face
designed for the delivery box. Put back in place the U-bolt assembly [4] and screw together [3] in order to clamp
the O-ring [6]. Once the new cartridge(s) is in place, before putting back the cover plate [2] and if the application
allows it, start the pump to ensure that there is no smoke. If there is smoke, the cartridge is incorrectly placed:
The O-ring [6] is not clamped correctly. Adjust the cartridge installation. Put back in place the plate [2] with its
new seal. Retighten the nuts [1].
NB : For E17/E25/E40/E65/E100 models, there is only one separating cartridge ; for E150/E200 models two
separating cartridges and for E300 model three separating cartridges.

Suction valve
A screen [1] is located at the pump's inlet port. Depending on the level of impurities sucked up, it must be
cleaned regularly by washing or blowing.
Replace it if it's necessary.
Remove the suction flange [2]. Remove and clean the screen [1]. Replace the valve [5] (except models E25.R
and E40.R) and seal [4]. If necessary, replace the flange o'ring [3].

Coupling
The coupling ring is subject to wear that relates to the service
conditions (number of stop/start cycles, temperature, etc.);
check the condition of the coupling ring and the fingers of the
1/2 sleeves that accommodate the ring. If necessary, replace
them by removing the electric motor.
Models E25.R and E40.R are not equipped with couplings.
3.3.7.
Lip seals
The rotor shaft outlets are sealed by lip seals. These seals are
subject to wear that depends on the service conditions. This
wear can be characterized by two phenomena: oil leakage or
reduction in the final vacuum due to air intake.
EVISA E17.2, E25.2, E40.2, E65.3 and E100.3: Remove the motor assembly and detach the 1/2 coupling
sleeve from the rotor shaft. Remove the front plate, remove the ventilation assembly (except E17 and E25)
and remove the rear plate. Follow the procedure for changing a bushing as indicated below for
replacement of the front and rear bushings (except E17 and E25 which do not have a rear bushing).
