7. Working life

7.8.2 Fixing and installation options

In all installation work, you must adhere to the specified torques for the screws used. Note the
tempering for the screws and separate information for accessories supplied. Only compliant con-
ditions will guarantee the safety and long working life of the electro cylinder.
A sliding block fixing of the "N" or "R" design can be pus-
hed into the front opening 2 of the electro cylinder.
Accessories can then be mounted as required on both sides,
e.g. a solenoid 1.
Magnets are already incorporated in the electro cylinder in
volume production.
The groove is closed with a capping section on delivery ex
works.
Two different connections can also be chosen for the U-fas-
tening 3 (only LZ 80):

Tilting flange 4
•
Tilting pin fixing 5
•
Connection with a tilting flange 4 is not possible for the LZ 80 PL and FL
electro cylinders.
•
When using/installing a tilting flange or pin, only the screws supplied
with the appliance are to be used.
•
Too long a screw would damage the cover or transmission cover during
installation.
•
When using/installing a swivelling or U-head, you must ensure that the
head is compatible with the nuts included with the electro cylinder as
delivered.
