Each SHELF (A) will require three CLEATS (B) to be attached to it as shown in the parts identifi cation page.
The SHELF (A) can fi t between two closet units, one closet unit and a side closet wall, or two side closet walls.
In all of these confi gurations the back CLEAT will be attached to the wall.
1. Measure the distance of the opening that your SHELF (A) will sit in.
2. If the SHELF needs to be cut, measure and mark the X distance with a pencil onto the two long edges of the SHELF.
Run your masking tape across the SHELF from one pencil mark to the other.
3. Lay your square across the SHELF and run a pencil mark along the edge of the square onto the masking tape.
4. Cut along the pencil mark with your saw.
NOTE: The masking tape is used to reduce chipping of the shelf while you cut it.
NOTE: CLEATS that you will fasten to the CORNER UNIT #412912 only must be cut to 9 3/8". Repeat this step to cut the CLEAT to
9 3/8". All other CLEATS that you will fasten to the wall and additional units do not need to be cut.
