4 Installation

WARNINGS: Injury or equipment damage may result from use of
tools containing ferrous materials. Use only non-magnetic tools to
install any scanner/magnet room components.
NOTE: Contact Bayer for installation information.
NOTE: Follow all institutional, local, or national safety regulations
related to routing cabling on the floor.
NOTE: Do not coil the cable to the battery on or near the Scan
Room Unit or magnet. Excess cable should be tie
wrapped in a figure-eight configuration and positioned as
far away from the magnet as possible.
NOTE: The person responsible for installation should be trained
in MR room safety precautions before installing the unit.
NOTE: In the event of fluid ingress or spillage on the injection
system ensure all equipment and accessory connections
are removed, dried, and inspected. Follow hospital
policies and procedures or contact Bayer for performing
appropriate electrical safety and operational checks prior
to use.
